The Vegan Club is a club sponsored by Mrs. Richard and we meet every other Tuesday from 2:30-3pm. The primary focuses of this year are creating and learning how to make plant-based meals that are affordable and accessible and ways to be more sustainable long term. You don’t have to be vegan to join the club despite its name, the club also won’t be pushing you to become vegan or anything of the sort. We hold workshops where we explore and cook feel good vegan recipes together that are easy to make and still yummy. We wanted to create an environment for students to feel comfortable and learn about different alternatives that can be implemented in your day to day lives that are plant-based and sustainable.
